Hello, my name is Mr. Aser, and I am a qualified Biology teacher with a strong academic and professional background in science education. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Science and Education with a major in Biology, a PGCE International, and I am currently completing my MA in Leadership in Education at Liverpool John Moores University.
I am passionate about teaching biology in a way that makes learning meaningful, engaging, and relevant to students’ lives. My goal is to foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a deep understanding of scientific concepts through interactive and well-structured lessons.
Teaching Methodology & Experience:
I have experience of more than 6 years teaching secondary school Biology, including Grade 10, Grade 11, and Grade 12, following international curricula such as the American curriculum aligned with NGSS standards. I design and deliver lessons that are student-centered, inquiry-based, and aligned with curriculum objectives.
My teaching practice includes lesson planning, formative and summative assessment, differentiation to meet diverse learning needs, and the effective use of models, experiments, and real-world examples. I continuously reflect on my teaching and engage in professional development to enhance student achievement and classroom engagement.
